Trenton, NJ - The New Jersey law firm, Camili & Capo, P.A., has launched a public awareness campaign to help victims of crime access financial support through the New Jersey Victims of Crime Compensation Office (VCCO).
The VCCO provides reimbursement for expenses such as medical treatment, counseling, and legal fees, but many eligible victims remain unaware of this support. Partners Krenar Camili and Joseph Capo would like to change that.
“Too many victims of crime never seek justice because they believe they can’t afford an attorney,” said Krenar Camili, partner at Camili & Capo. “We want them to know that help is available and that we can guide them through every step of the process.”
The firm’s campaign will feature educational content on its website and social media platforms explaining eligibility requirements, how to apply for VCCO reimbursement, and how Camili & Capo supports victims through the claims process.
As part of this campaign, the firm will share educational resources through its website and social media platforms that explain:
- Who qualifies for VCCO assistance
- What expenses are covered
- How to apply for reimbursement
- How the firm can guide victims through the legal process
